I previewed this book for my grandsons and this grandmother thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a tale of a very likable boy who is all boy. Martin is noble and brave. His adventures take him from the schoolyard to the jungles of Brazil and finally home again. Along the way he grows into a fine Christian man. R. M. Ballantyne did a wonderful job of sharing the gospel of Jesus in an engaging tale of adventure.Product details

I have been looking for this book(Martin Rattler) for 60 years. It was a favorite book I read when a boy growing up in Ireland. I looked in used book stores all over England without success and today thanks to I have found it and will start to reminise with my edition.
